Horror Fiction
Horror fiction is a canny addition to any set of signed first editions
The horror fiction genre, despite what some would have you believe, is not dead and buried. You only need to look to the huge output of Ramsey Campbell, the doyen of the scary story for more than fifty years, for proof of life.
Other established authors in this field include John Ajvide Lindqvist (Little Star), Michelle Paver (Dark Matter) and Sarah Waters (The Little Stranger); all maestri of the chilling, eerie tale
What’s more, the future of this genre seems secure thanks to an up-and-coming generation of new writers. Authors like Tom Fletcher (The Leaping), Alison Littlewood (A Cold Season) and Claire Massey (Marionettes).
It’s also worth noting that we stock a number of signed limited edition chapbooks published by the excellent Nightjar Press. They specialise in publishing authors like Christopher Burns (Lexicon), Christopher Kenworthy (Sullom Hill) and Alison Moore (Small Animals), who all show a gift for the uncanny.
